I've been sick for the last two days so I haven't done any trading. Just feel really really miserable and I'm wallowing in self pity. Something I'm very good at when I'm sick :-)
The good news is that I've finally found a forum with loads of good posts and a couple of people on it that really seem to know their stuff:

I'm in the process of reading every relevant post I can find and there are quite some threads so it's keeping my busy. It does get me thinking about a lot of other strategies and maybe also branching out in some other sports over time.

Good luck with it. Although I'm not strictly a trader, hopefully you'll be able to pick a few useful pointers from my site. I used to be the Head of Education at Betfair, so I'm pretty well rounded on the betting & trading front. The hardest part for everyone trying to make money is to weed out the mistakes and treat it like a job. Hard work pays off!

If you never make a good bet you'll never win any money regardless but if you're good at getting your share of profitable bets in but just piss it away by not being able to red up quickly when things go against you and start gambling you'll still end up being a consistent loser.
